Games Radar reports that the upcoming Wii action title from Killer 7 creator Suda 51 will be released across Europe in its censored form as seen in Japan. This is despite a bloody version being released in the US.

The Japanese version sees all dead bodies turn to black ash, while the US edition will feature plenty of blood, decapitations and bodies being sliced in half.

European publisher Rising Star has refused to confirm the censored release is to play safe with the BBFC, simply noting “maybe” when posed the question by Games Radar.

No More Heroes is scheduled for release across Europe only on Wii on February 29.
