Rising Star Games has announced that No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, the Wii exclusive sequel, will be released across Europe on May 28, 2010.
No More Heroes 2 follows Travis Touchdown who now finds himself the 51st ranked assassin – placed at the bottom of the UAA (United Assassins Association) table. He has to fight his way back to the top, while seeking revenge for the murder of his best friend.
“We’re really excited to announce the official European release date for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle,” said Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. “The original became a cult hit on the Wii when it released four years ago and the sequel is set to attract an army of new followers. The inclusion of blood also means No More Heroes 2 will be available in Europe the way the legendary Suda51 intended.”
Signs are positive that the sequel is much improved over Travis’ first outing, with reviews from Japan and the US being generally positive.
