Ubisoft has confirmed to Connected Consoles that it has no plans to release a playable demo for upcoming open-world action title Assassin’s Creed II.
Ubisoft didn’t release a playable demo for the first game either, yet the game went on to become the fastest selling new IP of this generation. Given the hype surrounding the sequel and the positive pre-release press, demo or no demo Assassin’s Creed II is set to be one of the year’s biggest titles.
Assassin’s Creed II is scheduled for release on November 20 for Xbox 360 and PS3. A PC version will follow in 2010.
