EA can’t confirm plans to release the six games that come in The Orange Box individually in UK shops.
Right now, Portal, Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode 2 can only be purchased as part of the stupendously good The Orange Box, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, or individually via developer Valve’s online distribution network Steam for the PC.
The games already have a confirmed April 9 release date in the US.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, an EA representative said: “No confirmation on UK plans for releasing individual elements of The Orange Box at retail. Obviously, you can already download individual elements via Steam and they have announced in the US that they will be available at retail in April.”
