Irrational Games’ BioShock is a clear game of the year contender, but it looks likely only PC and Xbox 360 gamers will get the chance to enjoy this masterpiece of modern gaming.
Although branding the “Only on Xbox 360 and Windows” label on its box, it’s been heavily rumoured that Irrational Games is secretly working on a version of the game for PS3.
BioShock lead designer Ken Levine says this is absolutely not the case.
“I promise you, there is no secret plan about the PS3 that we’re keeping from people,” Levine told Joystiq. “There’s no PS3 development going on that we’re hiding.“
That’s not to say it won’t ever come to the PS3. Levine notes that Irrational Games isn’t “currently” working on a PS3 version.
