Back at E3 EA announced that the PlayStation 3 version of Battlefield 3 would include a free copy of DICE’s downloadable multiplayer title Battlefield 1943. A pretty nifty freebie.
However, the game’s now launched in North America and there’s no sign of Battlefield 1943.
Asked on Twitter about the freebie, the official Battlefield account said: “In lieu of 1943 being available on disk for PS3 customers, EA has made all BF3 expansions available early to PS3 customers.”
Battlefield 3 DLC is coming one week early on PS3.
