Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer for Warriors All-Stars, which shows off new features and characters that will come to the one-versus-thousands hack and slash title. This trailer introduces the game’s final clan, the Shiki Clan, which includes Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane from Ninja Gaiden, William from Team Ninja’s Nioh, Samurai Warriors and many more.

Warriors All-Stars features an extensive battle system, and mixes in plenty of RPG-style content for players to enjoy outside of the hack and slash combat. One area, called the Sanctuary, surrounds the game’s hot springs, where players can take a break from battle to upgrade their Hero Cards and enhance their clan members relationships. As bonds between clan members grow, players will be rewarded with unique cutscenes, which provide insights into each character’s background.

Players can practice their combat skills by going to the Practice Arena, and Warriors will be able to improve their stats by trading gold for experience points. To choose missions, players will need to go to the Headquarters and plot their plan of action on the World Map.

Warriors All-Stars is a hack-and-slash action game that crosses over with the Warriors series and celebrates all-things  Koei Tecmo, pulling together characters from the video game companies back-catalogue and allowing players to forge relationships between characters from different series.

Warriors All-Stars is due for release on September 1 for PS4.
