Nintendo has announced that the smash hit puppy training game will finally make its way to European retailers on October 7th 2005. The European version will come in three different packages – Labrador Retriever, Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua – each initially containing six breeds, and eventually unlocking all eighteen. Golden Retriever, Siberian Husky and Boxer breeds are new to the European release.

The game sees you train, play and wash your dog, and even allows you to talk to it, giving it a unique name that will alert the dog when called. When the game was released in Japan sales of the Nintendo DS increased to five times the usual level, showing the interest that the gaming public have in the title.

While games like Nintendogs have been around for years, never before has a game offered players such an advanced puppy training experience. Look for our full review near the game’s October 7 release date.
