The organisers of Games Market Europe have announced that Nintendogs will be making an appearance at this week’s event. Nintendo will host a special showcase for the game that is set to do big business when it’s released in Europe this October.
“There’s little doubt that Nintendogs will be one of the most popular games this Christmas,” says Andy Lane, event director, Games Market Europe. “Games Market Europe is the perfect environment for the entire trade to see for themselves how popular this innovative title is – and appreciate the business it will generate come its October release.”
While it’s great that Nintendo will be at the event in some form, a better showing would have increased the profile of the London event. While exhibitors include the likes of Electronic Arts and Ubisoft, big names like Sony and Microsoft are missing.
