Beginning on November 10 at Toys 4 Big Boys in Dublin, gamers and non-gamers will be able to experience exactly what the Wii is all about. Nintendo hopes to have put the unique Wii controller into the hands of more than a million people before the console goes on sale across the UK on December 8.
Nintendo’s whole Wii campaign is targeted at expanding the gaming population, appealing to people who have never thought about picking up a video games console before. With that in mind, Nintendo will be focusing its tour on key mainstream family events and destinations, including Bluewater Shopping Centre, Birmingham Bullring, Sheffield’s Meadow Hall, The Good Food Show, Ideal Home Exhibition and Glasgow’s Irn Bru Carnival.
