Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch has sold over 2 million units in North America since its release in March.

It also revealed that, in September, Nintendo had claimed two-thirds of all games hardware sales in North America thanks to the Switch, Nintendo 3DS systems, and Super NES Classic Edition.

Sales of the Switch won’t be slowing down anytime soon, and the next couple of months could achieve even higher sales, with the releases of Fire Emblem Warriors on October 20, Super Mario Odyssey on October 27, Doom on November 10, and Skyrim on November 17.

Nintendo released a big feature update for the Nintendo Switch earlier today, which adds the ability to pre-order and pre-download games, as well as giving users the ability to capture gameplay footage on the console.
