At its 3DS showcase in Tokyo, Nintendo revealed a batch of new titles heading to the 3DS.

Mario Tennis is perhaps the most notable of the bunch, which was unveiled by Satoru Iwata himself. The game will retain the style and premise of previous games, whilst introducing a new control scheme that takes advantage of the 3DS’ gyro.

SRPG fans will be pleased to see the return of Fire Emblem, which will bring back tactical isometric grid-scrapping with all-new 3D battle animations. Whether this is a remake or a brand new entry in the series is currently unknown.

Another RPG was announced in the form of Bravery Default: Flying Fairy, but other than a silly name, attractive visuals and AR capabilities, little is known about the game.

A new Gundam title was also revealed, although the chances of SD Gundam G Generation 3D making an appearance outside of Japan are slim.

In related new, Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble, Dynasty Warriors Vs and Kingdom Hearts 3D were all confirmed as compatible with the 3DS’ second circle pad, which has now been given a price and date.
