The Japanese Nintendo store is selling the Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 bundle box for around $5, or £3.80 (give or take). Literally just the box. With nothing in it. Here it is.

It comes flat packed and you have to assemble it yourself. The product page says Nintendo bears no responsibility for scratches or damage from you assembling it. It also says this box is ‘Recommended for Splatoon fans who already have Nintendo Switch!’ Yup.Â
This was spotted a few days ago by Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners.
Nintendo is selling the box for the Splatoon 2 bundle separately for $5 in Japan.
