Nintendo has released details on the Wii U's internet browser, confirming that the browser will include support for hi-def H.264 video and HTML5.

According to the official spec sheet, the browser will run on NetFront Browser NX v2.1, but won't include support plug-ins, meaning websites that require Adobe Flash won't be compatible.

You won't be able to save or upload images or videos either, although we're not entirely sure why you'd want to do that through your console in the first place.
