Speaking to IGN, Nintendo of America executive vice president of sales and marketing, Cammie Dunaway, has confirmed the platform holder is working on a “new Pikmin” title and that the re-worked GameCube version heading to Wii is not this game.
“It’s not the Pikmin that Mr. Miyamoto referred to, no. Mr. Miyamoto referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being re-released on Wii,” explained Dunaway.
Unfortunately there’s still no info on the “new” Pikmin title, but at least we know one is definitely on the way.
