As reported by DualShockers, Bayonetta and NieR: Automata developer PlatinumGames is working on a new IP.Â
Speaking at independent games event BitSummit in Kyoto, Japan, PlatinumGames Producer Atusushi Inaba said the studio is working on a ‘formless, shapeless IP.’ While Inaba didn’t give any specifics on the dev’s next project, he did say it will be directed by somebody new.
He added that he’s not sure if Platinum can continue releasing at least one game a year, which is the very minimum of what its done since Anarchy Reigns in 2012.
With the pedigree of a studio like PlatinumGames, all eyes will be on what comes out of the development house next.
