Bandai Namco Games has slapped a December 13 release date on Ni no Kuni II's Lair of the Lost Lord DLC.

Those of you own the game's Season Pass can snap up the new content for free, while everyone else will have to pay £7.99. Lair of the Lost Lord will add a bunch of new content for Level-5's acclaimed JRPG, including fresh backstories for Bani and Bracken and additional magical weapons.

One of the key highlights is the ability to switch out your character's battle systems using the new Method System. Players will find themselves skulking around a dungeon lair featuring randomly generated levels, and can be accessed via chapter four of the main campaign.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was released on PlayStation 4 and PC back in March.
