Bandai Namco Games has lifted the wraps off the next batch of DLC for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the tongue-twistingly named Tale of a Timeless Tome.

Due out on March 19, Tale of a Timeless Tome will add a bunch of new characters, battle content, and missions for the lush-looking JRPG. The action kicks off at the Goldpond Inn, where people are claiming to have been visited by an enigmatic rabbit in their sleep.

Hearing these tales, Evan and chums pay a visit to the Goldpond Inn and stay there to investigate. After dropping off, they meet up in a dream together and brush shoulders with the Conductor, the mysterious rabbit mentioned earlier and someone who fans of the original Ni no Kuni will probably recognise.

Players will be able to wield two new battle techniques in the DLC, namely the Wizard's Companion and Martha's Method. The former was previously used by Oliver in the first game.

You'll also visit a new location, the Solosseum Slog, where Evan will have to battle against new and powerful creatures in exchange for new items and rewards.

Ni no Kuni II was released on PlayStation 4 in March 2018.
