Upcoming colourful Level-5 RPG Ni no Kuni: II: Revenant Kingdom has been delayed, publisher Bandai Namco announced last night. The move means the game, originally scheduled for January, will now release a couple of months later and will now come out in March.

The president and CEO of Level-5 issued a statement on the reasons for the delay, saying that ‘with innovation and new ideas come the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive package. This means we’ll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom experience meets Level-5 and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.’s high quality standards.’

It’s not the first delay the game has suffered, having originally being scheduled for November of this year, before being delayed back in July to January.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be out for the PlayStation 4 and PC on March 23 2018
