Expect a lot of space to roam around in when you finally get your hands on EA and Criterion’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. According to Criterion’s Matt Webster, the play area of Hot Pursuit is four times the size of that featured in Burnout Paradise.
“Put simply, it’s around four times bigger than Burnout Paradise, for cars to be able to usefully reach 260 miles an hour,” revealed Webster on EA.com.
The game will feature over 100 miles of tarmac road and 30-40 per cent more off-road and shortcut areas, says Webster.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is scheduled for release November 19 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
