Next year’s Warcraft movie will feature plenty of CGI, but how much screen real estate will be filled by computer-generated characters and worlds?

Responding to a fan questioning how much of the film will be live action vs CGI, director Duncan Jones said: “I would say that we fit somewhere between Planet of the Apes, Fellowship of the Ring and Avatar.”

Quite a bit, then.

Jones also revealed that he had pitched an idea for the movie’s marketing campaign that would feature two parallel trailers focusing on the Horde and Alliance stories.

“I love that idea. Have pitched it myself. We’ll have to see,” he wrote.

Warcraft is scheduled to launch March 11, 2016.
