Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has revealed that the new Zelda title currently in development for Wii won’t follow the same structure that has been seen in previous Link adventures.

“It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise,” Aonuma told ONM.

“So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version.”

It sounds like we”ve got a considerable wait in store before we see what Aonuma and co have been working on; the producer told ONM that he hopes to be able to show something at E3 next year.
