Ubisoft has today released its latest financial statement and revealed a number of games for both current and next generation consoles. On the release schedule are five PSP titles (although only four are listed), four for Xbox 2 and five for the Nintendo DS, as well as a number for Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and GBA.

Heading the report from Ubisoft is news that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Lockdown, on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC, will now be released in the first half of the 2005-2006 fiscal year, sometime between April and September 2005. Also due for release in those six months are Far Cry Instincts (listed for current consoles), Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith or GBA and DS and 187 Ride or Die, a street racing title.

During the frantic period near Christmas Ubisoft has a number big titles set for release. The videogame version of Peter Jackson’s King Kong should do big business and is scheduled for release on all platforms (GBA, PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox, Nintendo DS, GameCube and Xbox 2). A new chapter in Brothers in Arms will also be released at around the Christmas period, as will the next Prince of Persia title, Ghost Recon title, Far Cry PC add on and Prince of Persia Warrior Within on the Nintendo DS.

Early in 2006 expect Splinter Cell 4, Splinter Cell on PSP and Killing Day – a FSP – on next-gen consoles (presumable Xbox 2). Out of all the games announced, Killing Day is the only title that is exclusively for next generation consoles. Just to clear things up, here is a list of what has been announced for the PSP, DS and Xbox 2.
