During his GDC keynote address last night Miyamoto revealed that he is working on a new Wii Channel for Miis.
Miis, user created cartoon-like characters which can be shared with friends, have proved hugely popular. It’s no surprise then that Miyamoto is already at work on a new channel which will utilise the Miis.
Although he didn’t reveal many details, we were told that the channel will feature a popularity contest, with users from around the world showing off their Miis.
Miyamoto did not offer any details on a specific time frame for the channel’s release.
