New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has topped the UK All Format Charts, flogging 25% more physical copies than the original Wii U version of the game. There's no word on digital sales, as Chart-Track doesn't bother with them.
If you're curious how Mazza's revamped platformer did in comparison to his other Switch efforts, the game pulled in more punters than Mario Tennis Aces but failed to match both Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
New Super Mario Bros. U was originally released on Wii U as a launch title back in November 2012, and received the New Super Luigi U expansion the following year to celebrate Year of Luigi.
