Bandai Namco Games has announced the next batch of Soul Calibur VI characters, confirming newcomer Groh will be joining returning faces such as Kilik, Nightmare, and Xianghua.

Known as The Agent in Black, Groh is a silver-haired brawler who wields a particularly meaty-looking dual blade that can function as two separate weapons. From the look of things, he’s also able to enter some sort of rage-induced state that removes his eye patch and turns his eyes glowing red.

Those of you familiar with the venerable fighting series will be pleased to see the other three characters show their faces, and they’re just as lethal as you remember. In fact, at one point in the trailer below, Kilik appears to be possessed by Soul Edge, allowing him to batter his opponent with a visually striking, health-draining power attack.

Soul Calibur VI is due out for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in 2018. Check out the previous trailer that offers a look at veteran brawler Sophitia.Â
