The next Skylanders game will be revealed later this month, according to an event invitation received by Polygon.
The media event is allegedly taking place in New York on April 23, where Activision will reveal “the latest innovation from the franchise that created the toys-to-life category”.
Little is currently known about this year’s Skylanders game other than that it’s in development at Toys for Bob, the developers behind the original Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure and sequel Skylanders Giants. Last year’s game, Skylanders: Swap Force, was developed by Vicarious Visions.
It’s looking to be a busy month for toy fans, too. The “latest chapter of Disney Infinity” is also due to be revealed a week later on April 30.
