Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV on PC will be a Games for Windows LIVE title, meaning the game will support PC Achievements and voice chat. The online play will also operate over the Games for Windows LIVE network, meaning it’ll support matchmaking and friends lists.
The PC version will also offer higher resolution visuals and three new optional shaders based on the artistic trailers: Watercolour, Poster and Sumi-e ink.
Its Games for Windows certification also means you’ll be able to use an Xbox 360 pad or arcade stick with no problems. Given that the Games for Windows Marketplace also offers full DLC support, it seems a safe bet that previously released console DLC will make it to the PC game too.
