Last week saw the release of the Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack for Xbox 360. The pack contained five maps and Xbox gamers were asked to part with 800 Microsoft Points to get their hands on the new stuff.
However, the new content quickly disappeared from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The good news is that the Black Pack is back and is now free.
“Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack Downloadable Content for Xbox 360 Live was originally intended to be free content for the fans of Rainbow Six Vegas. We apologize for the error,” said Ubisoft. “All players who purchased the Black Pack will be reimbursed automatically.“
The Ubisoft statement also reveals further good news for Rainbow Six Vegas players.
“… as a token of our appreciation for the Rainbow Six community, we are making the Red Pack free as of Friday July 6th as well. Thanks for playing and we hope you enjoy this free content, concluded the statement.
