This autumn, Phantasy Star Universe players will be able to extend their experience with the release of Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC.

A new Human Fundamentalist movement, known as the Illuminus, disrupts the peaceful Gurhal System throwing the Gurhal Government into chaos. Players will be able to explore exciting new levels including the Ruins of Old Rozenom City and the subterranean Granigs Mines.

Players will encounter new and more powerful enemy types, as well as mastering additional class types. Players will also meet familiar characters like Ethan Waber from Episode 1, and other new characters including GUARDIAN instructor Laia Martinez.

The expansion also features newly created gameplay and customisation features, with players able to commune in new and expanded lobby areas filled with decorations and music. This includes the new Casino Voloyal where roulette and slots can earn players special casino-only items.

Character and weapon customisation is now even deeper with the introduction of new weapon types, armour, Photon Arts and clothing. Each Guardian’s individual rooms are upgraded and now offer more customisation.

The expansion will be available in autumn via Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 and in stores for PS2 and PC.
