Mass Effect 3 will be released this winter and BioWare is doing all it can to tease info out into the hands of gamers.
Here we take a look at eight new screens, confirming the appearance of familiar face.
Shepard taking out a Cerberus trooper using what looks like the M-76 Revenant, a rare assault rifle seen in Mass Effect 2.
Judging from the baton and rifle, we can assume some Cerberus troopers will be able to use both melee and ranged attacks.
On the right we can see a Krogan Husk – synthetic zombies created by the Reapers. Urgh ewww blurgh!
Presumably Shepard’s still on the Salarian homeworld, but here he’s gone indoors to fight some more Cerberus troops. Maybe it’s raining?
Judging by the way this guy seems to be reacting, I think we can safely assume Shepard still has the most powerful elbow in the galaxy. Nice N7 armour!
The sun’s come back out on the Salarian homeworld.
Look! It’s Liara on the left! Liara! LIARA.
Captain Anderson swaps his ambassadorial robes for military garb and looks pensively out of a window, possibly thinking about whether the human race is going to be wiped out when Mass Effect 3 launches this holiday season.
