The DICE team has been hard at work fixing bugs, but they’ve also had time to work on some new content. A new community update posted over at the official Battlefield 2 website has confirmed that the game’s next patch will include a new map.
The new map, Road to Jalalabad, has been running on the game’s test servers. The good news is that it will come for free with the next patch, and will not be part of a booster pack. An Open Beta for the next patch will begin in July.
