Enhance Games, a studio founded by Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, and Mobcast have acquired the Lumines and Meteos IPs from Q Entertainment, Mobcast has announced.

The California-based Enhance Games is already working on a new Lumines title for mobile platforms. The game will retain the music and feel of the franchise, but promises a reworked play style for the mobile gamer.

There’s no word on what’s happening with Meteos, but it seems safe to assume a new game is also on the way.
