Speaking at a presentation at last week’s GDC, Kouno, who was discussing the development of LocoRoco, let slip some details on a new game in the series.
After offering some thoughts on where he’d like to improve the game, Kouno excited the audience stating: “I’d like to use a new way of playing the game for the next version of LocoRoco.“
He also promised that the new game would feature “a new and pleasant surprise,” but was unable to offer any specifics.
Later in the presentation, asked if the new game would be for PSP or PS3, Kouno said that he knew this would be asked but was unable to give an answer. However, he promised, “I’m not going to betray your expectations. You can count on this.“
