PlayStation's own super-show PSX took place over the weekend, and among the many things shown off at the event was a new gameplay demo of upcoming madcap platform brawler Guacamelee 2.

The footage embedded below also features Drinkbox Studio's Graham Smith talking about the sequel, which will support multiplayer and takes place seven years after the first game, with a new threat that Juan must face in his madcap quest. The footage also confirms that the multiplayer aspect will be local only sadly, but is still expected to provide plenty of colourful action.

Guacamelee 2 is set for release 'early next year' for the PlayStation 4. If you're after more, why not check out our Colm's own interview with Graham Smith?
