BioWare community coordinator Chris Priestly has confirmed that Mass Effect 2 will feature New Game +, allowing players to replay the Mass Effect 2 campaign using the same character that was previously used to beat the game.
“If players start a New Game + after beating the game they will be able to re-use the same character import file they did for their first playthrough. Yes New Game + is making a return to Mass Effect 2!” wrote Priestly on the Mass Effect forums late last month.
Priestly also reminded fans that everything they do in Mass Effect 2 “will have consequences in Mass Effect 3”.
