The latest Limited Time Mode for Fortnite has been revealed, and it's a collaboration between Epic's monstorously popular battle royale shooter and… Air Jordan?
Indeed, the Downtown Drop LTM is a new Creative map designed in collabration with artists NotNellaf & Tollmolia and turns the game into a sort of Tony Hawk's skateboarding style challenge with coins to collect, grinds to perform and gravity-defying jumps to launch from.
Successful completion of the challenges on the map will see players unlock a new skateboard backpack known as the Back Board Back Bling, which has nine style variants to nab. In addition, a Hang Time Bundle is now available, featuring two new outfits and a challenge pack unique to the bundle for even more opportunities to earn those boards and additional rewards including sprays and styles.
The 9.10 patch for Fortnite has also dropped today, with the main new feature being Hot Zones – certain areas of the map will now be marked in gold and feature Loot Carriers which, if destroyed, promise additional high quality weapons. This is of course on top of the usual tweaks and changes, which you can read in full here.
