Mythic Entertainment has released patch 1.79 for Dark Age of Camelot. The patch introduces “all-new Epic Quests” and will reward players with redesigned Epic Armour (sounds good).
Players will be able to obtain these new quests, starting at level five, when called upon to regain some long lost treasure. Initially the quests are for individuals of specific classes, but as you progress to higher levels the quests become more cooperative, with all players within a Realm sharing the same final quest.
New dungeons have been created specifically for the new quests, and the patch makes use of new instancing technology, which allows players to complete higher level quests without having to wait for monster spawns. The quests have been designed to encourage teamwork and offer players the chance to discover the history and lore of their Realm. The full list of updates the 1.79 patch brings is available here.
