Infinity Ward’s community manager, Robert Bowling, has spread word that the response to the recently released Call of Duty 4 patch for Xbox 360 has been positive. So much so that the game has recorded record numbers on Xbox LIVE.

“Overall the response to the new patch has been positive with the game pulling in record numbers on Xbox Live over the weekend,” said Bowling. “The new kill cams are working great, as well as the sniper rifle and ACOG scope tweaks have went over well.”

It’s not all been positive feedback though, with some players reporting problems. Rest assured all problems are being noted and Infinity Ward is working to fix them.

“… there are a few things that we’re currently looking at that some of you have wrote in to us about, whether by commenting on this blog, emailing us, or the forums that I wanted to let you know we are listening and addressing as needed,” explained Bowling.
