Call of Duty 2’s multiplayer component has received strong criticism from some of the game’s most hardcore of fans, with many gamers promising to essentially begin strike action and close down the game servers should improvements to the service not materialise. Well, it appears that Infinity Ward and Activision are finally going to be making some enhancements.
Activision is promising new multiplayer maps, Punkbuster anti-cheat software and other support enhancements as part of the next game update, which is scheduled to be ready in early 2006.
