Bandai Namco Games has confirmed that Tekken 7 is getting a second season of content (as previously rumoured), among which includes the addition of Negan from The Walking Dead.

The baseball bat-wielding baddie will be joined by returning characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong, although Namco's roadmap makes it clear that there will be other fighters that have still yet to be confirmed.

No word yet on when Tekken 7's second batch of DLC will be released, but if it's anything like the first lot, you should be able to purchase each additional fighter separately or as part of a bundle.

Negan should be an interesting addition, particularly since Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada said last year that he would be 'too weak' as a fighter to join the roster. Guess he changed his mind, eh?

Tekken 7 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in June 2017, and is widely regarded as one of the best instalments in the venerable scrapper to date. The game's story marks a significant turning point for the series, bringing the curtains down on the Mishima family feud.

The game's previous DLC slate included blood-sucker Eliza, Fatal Fury's Geese Howard, and Final Fantasy XV's Noctis.
