The game is in development by EA Black Box in Vancouver, and is scheduled to hit all platforms, including PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 in November.
“We pride ourselves on our ability to reinvent the franchise and continually uncover new and exciting trends in car culture. Canyon Racing is a real test of a driver’s skill and we think it provides a fantastic game play opportunity to lean into,” said Larry LaPierre, the game’s executive producer.
In Need For Speed Carbon, racing starts in the city streets and ends up at Carbon Canyon, where reputations can be lost at each perilous bend. You and your crew must race in an all out war for the city, risking everything to takeover your rival’s turf. As the series moves onto all three next-gen consoles, expect next-gen customisation thanks to the all new Autosculpt technology, enabling players to tweak their crew’s cars in every way possible.
As has become the norm for the Need For Speed franchise, Need For Speed Carbon is scheduled for release on all available platforms this November.
