EA’s blockbuster racing series is back again this winter and to wet gamer appetites a demo has been released on Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo comes in at a smidge over 1GB and will probably take most of the day to download.

In Need for Speed Carbon a battle for street supremacy is on, and what starts in the city is settled in the canyons in the world’s most dangerous form of street racing. Risk everything to take over your rivals’ neighbourhoods one block at a time, all the time at risk of being taken in by the cops or, worse still, flying off the road on any one of the canyons’ perilous curves.

The demo is available now in all regions excluding Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Sinagpore and Taiwan, and the game is released on November 3 for Xbox 360, current-gen platforms, PC, and handhelds.
