Dead Space 2 will feature multiplayer game modes which pit human soldiers against the deadly necromorphs, according to information leaked from the annual GameStop conference in Texas.
Players will get to take control of either humans or the mutated monstrosities and compete in deathmatch-style combat. A host of other multiplayer game modes will be announced at a later date.
Dead Space 2 is scheduled for release on January 28 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
