Retro compilations are nothing new these days, but the latest offering from Namco Bandai looks to have a treat in store for DS gamers.

Namco Museum DS will feature eight games including Pac-Man, Galaga and Xevious, but most exciting is the inclusion of Pac-Man VS. The game was previously released in 2003 for the GameCube and was only available with the purchase or pre-order of previous games.

Pac-Man VS. puts a new spin on the classic Pac-Man formula giving players the ability to play as the famous ghosts from the Pac-Man series. One person plays as Pac-Man with up to three other people taking on roles as Ghosts. The DS version also includes single card multiplayer.

Each game on the compilation can also be configured to play in a number of different screen settings.
