Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds has shipped two million copies worldwide, Capcom has announced.
Capcom says the 11-year gap between MvC2 and MvC3 saw demand for the title at an all-time high and the game was able to capitalise on the resurgence of the fighting genre to exceed shipments of its predecessor.
The publisher also confirmed plans to roll-out additional costumes and characters over PSN and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
