Mexican-flavoured adventure game Mulaka hits PS4 and PC today, and Lienzo’s marked the occasion with a visually-striking launch trailer for your viewing pleasure. The game will roll out for Switch and Xbox One on March 1 and March 2, respectively.Â
Just in case Mulaka has gone under your radar, the game plucks its visual cues from Mexico’s Sierra Tarahumara region, and blends platforming and hand-to-hand combat while clearly taking influence from video game heavyweights such as Okami and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Players will explore a vibrant and diverse landscape inspired by real-life locations in Mexico, while tapping into the mythical powers of the Tarahumara to battle foes and overcome fiendish puzzles and obstacles. Mulaka further complements its unique backdrop with music and language indigenous to the region, creating an authentic representation of Tarahumara culture.
