According to Ken Lobb, creative director at MS Game Studios, players will be able to “twist the controller around” to move different things in Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

In full Lobb said: “The primary function that Kazooie has in the game is she carries this wrench and the wrench is used for many different things. One of the things that the wrench is used for is to turn these devices. So you basically grab with the wrench and then you twist the controller around and it’ll move different things in the game.”

Lobb’s comment came during an IGN Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts developer walkthrough, and whilst he may simply have misspoken it does seem to suggest the game will feature some form of motion control.

Judge for yourself if he’s referring to the motion controller over on IGN, but if real expect an official confirmation of the rumoured controller at E3 next week.
