When gamers catch glimpse of a game that hasn’t been announced it’s cause for much excitement. When a PSP version of MotorStorm appeared on UK retailer GAME’s website Sony fans thought they’d stumbled upon something they weren’t supposed to know about, but it seems we’ve all got excited over nothing.
Speaking to VideoGamer.com this morning a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson has confirmed that the listing is a mistake and that it will be removed shortly. So there you go. Maybe the fan excitement over the listing will give Sony a reason to consider bringing the MotorStorm series to PSP in the future, but it’s not happening just yet.
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is scheduled for release on PS3 later this year.
