Evolution Studios could return to MotorStorm “in the future”, senior community manager Jamie Brayshaw has teased, but for the time being the studio’s focus remains on DriveClub.
Responding to a fan asking whether there was “any chance of a next-gen MotorStorm for PS4,” Brayshaw replied: “Maybe in the future. We’re all about @DRIVECLUB right now”.
Evolution introduced MotorStorm at the launch of PlayStation 3, which went on to spawn two direct sequels and a pair of handheld spin-offs. However, the future of the series remained unclear after the studio decided to ditch off-road racing for realistic street racer DriveClub.
DriveClub launches in the UK on October 10, and if these spectacular weather effects are anything to go by, it could be the best-looking PS4 game yet.
